The software in this bundle is not Intuits Cash Register Plus, It is Intuit POS 2010 free version, A poor substitute. While the cash register and the reciept printer are probably worth the purchase price, the software can be downloaded for free from Intuits web site. The Program Cash Register Plus has been discontinued, and this deal is a marketing ploy based on the prior existence of Intuits support for Cash Register Plus, which is temporarily still for sale until supplies run out. Intuits policy is to not support software more than two years out of date, so Cash Register Plus the program has a very short expected life span after purchase.

The software in this bundle is not Intuits Cash Register Plus, It is Intuit POS 2010 free version, A very, very poor substitute. While the cash register and the reciept printer are probably worth the purchase price, the software can be downloaded for free from Intuits web site.
Basically, The free verison doesnt even have the features Cash Register Plus 2010 Free verison had!!!! The POS 10 is so sripped down, all you can do is ring a sale and store items. Nothing else!!!! AND I MEAN NOTHING!!!! There is NO SECURITY FEATURES!!!!!! You can not login into the program with a password!!!!! (User name and password) The security feature is disabled. You can not add customers!!!! About the only ok feature is that it connects to quickbooks for the “End of Day” feature.
Also quickbooks support will not support the hardware that they include in the box??? They refer you to the individual hardware companies for help.
The Updgrade from FREE to BASIC is ,000.00!!!!
NOT HAPPY. Spent approx. 4.5 hours on with their sales and support teams, no help!!!!

Intuit has done done it again. They have found a way to hamper quality. The hardware comes with very specific instructions. It works just fine. However, it does not come with Cash Register Plus. The hardware comes with this Free skeleton version POS software. You can suggest many things about those three letters and still be correct.
